Project Highlights
A premier global telecommunications provider expanded its portfolio by acquiring nearly 350 sites from a regional wireless carrier. This strategic acquisition entailed transitioning half of these sites to a new transport vendor while migrating the remaining sites to a new backhaul network.
Vertex Innovations played a pivotal role in managing the comprehensive upgrade, ensuring timely circuit deliveries and maintaining stringent quality control throughout the migration of all 337 sites. Our project management team skillfully coordinated the efforts across various stakeholders, including general contractors, site acquisition firms, and the client’s internal management team. To ensure success, we meticulously tracked the project’s progression against the client’s sales and site activation goals.
Ultimately, 336 of the sites were successfully completed, with the final project nearing completion following stringent reviews by the United States Army as the site is located on government property.
The diligence of our project management team allowed the client’s personnel to focus on the organization’s other programs while still trusting the migration was completed on time, on budget, and per their quality standards.
