The Challenge
The nation’s largest wireless carrier was tasked with expanding its Great Plains market with approximately 80 new build sites and 40 conduit additions annually across a multi-year program. As the sites were spread across six states, the client needed a partner who could efficiently manage multiple projects across varying geographies and construction timelines.
The Solution
With more than two decades of experience in the construction and engineering of network infrastructure projects, Vertex Innovations has extensive technical knowledge in transport services and Computer Network Defense (CND) best practices. We leveraged this project history to expertly manage the conduit construction of these projects, including installation of fiber conduit, management of the general contractor and awarded vendors, creation of RFP and NTP documents, and creation of closeout packages. Additionally, our team reviewed the construction drawings for all new build sites and conduit additions, ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness across all 1,825 sites.
