North Las Vegas Greenfield
Project Highlights
Located minutes north of Sin City, this greenfield project serves as the client’s latest mobile switching center supporting its cellular network in the area. Constructed of precast concrete panels, the 33,000 square-foot facility includes 18,000 square feet of technical space reserved for new telco rooms, electric, UPS and network spaces, which are protected by 3M Novec 1230, a clean agent fire suppression system.
The MSC facility includes five DX CRAC units, each with an N+1 redundancy configuration to ensure system availability in the event of component failure. Each UPS system is powered by three independent 600kW modules with standby power provided by 3,000kW exterior generators with 12,000-gallon sub-base fuel tanks.
Vertex Innovations served as owner’s representative providing construction management services on the site, including project planning, procurement, scheduling, cost management, equipment installation and functional testing, and quality control.
